Introducing the Factorial MCP server

We're excited to announce the Factorial MCP server is now live, letting any AI assistant securely act on your behalf inside Factorial.

The server is hosted, so there's nothing to install or run. Add it as a custom connector in your AI client, log in once with your Factorial account, and your assistant is ready to go:

What you can do

  • Attendance — clock in, clock out, and check your current status. "Clock me in."
  • Tasks — see your assigned tasks and create new ones. "What's on my plate today?"
  • Time off — view leaves, check available leave types, and request time off. "Request holiday next Friday."
  • Employee lookup — find a colleague by name or email. "What's Jane Doe's email?"
  • Factorial One — delegate broader questions to Factorial's AI assistant: policies, contracts, reports, and more (requires a plan with Factorial One access).

Security first

Every action runs as the authenticated user, never as an admin or service account, and Factorial's permission system is enforced on every call. Authentication uses standard OAuth 2.0 with Dynamic Client Registration, so there are no API keys to copy or tokens to manage.

We've verified the flow end-to-end with Claude (web and desktop); any assistant supporting remote MCP connectors should work.
